Dorsey, the founder of Twitter, introduced a new social network

Jack Dorsey, the founder of microblogging and social networking site Twitter, has announced a new social network. Dorsey, who is also the former CEO of Twitter, has recently signed up more than 30,000 people in the BlueSky social app, which he introduced as a beta version.

According to the information provided by BlueSky, the creators will have the freedom of the platform, the developers will have the freedom to build, and the users will be able to get the desired experience from the platform. According to international media Gizmodo, BlueSky’s main feature is its technology.

The company calls it Authenticated Transfer or AT Protocol. Which gives the user complete control over their algorithm. Dorsey announced in 2019 that Twitter was going to develop an open and decentralized standard for social networks.

In a secret chat between Dorsey and Musk that was made public during the legal battle between Musk and Twitter, Dorsey said that a new platform was needed. He said that there will be no new social networking company and it will have open source protocols.

He said that although this signal is similar to the app, it will not be in the advertising model. Dorsey, along with other co-founders, developed Twitter in 2006. He served as CEO of Twitter from 2015 to 2021. After he left the post of CEO, Parag Agarwal, who was working as CTO, became the new CEO of Twitter.

After Twitter was owned by Musk, he fired top employees including Parag Agarwal.
